Sometimes the customers do not have valve sack filling equipment or they want to pack several products with different bulk densities in the same sack. In this case the ideal solution is an open mouth sack with square bottom.
These bags are made of the same resins used for the valve bags (Heavy Duty LDPE, Metallocene LLDPE and regular LLDPE) to guarantee a high strength. They are also without slip additives to obtain a high friction coefficient. Thanks to their shape and this high friction coefficient they stack very well.
The square bottom allows the sack to stand on its bottom making it easy to fill and discharge. The mouth of the bag should be sealed not sewn for better performance.
The bags can be clear so that people can see what is inside (as is often the case in color masterbatches). They can also be made of any color.

Do to their high strength this type of bags are very light and un-expensive, they are easy to transport y manipulate. Their size depends on the product to be packed. They are normally design to contain between 10 and 60 kg.
